Automatic or electronically controlled four wheel drive systems are common place on many of the SUVs, XUVs, AND trucks on the road today.  These systems rely on speed sensors, various switches, multiple modules, and some systems still use vacuum.  Customers may have concerns of intermittent 4WD operation, binding on turns, or no 4WD.  Some systems will allow the technician to obtain scan data and trouble codes, while others offer little information.
