In this On Demand Class, PTS Instructor Wayne Bishop will introduce you to some advanced skills.
We will use our scope to analyze relative engine cranking and compression using current and voltage probes.
Next we will focus on ignition systems. We'll discuss obtaining primary and secondary ignition waveforms, and the current ramping of ignition coils. As well as the importance of saving our waveforms for future reference.
Upon completion, you will have a good understanding of the tools and how to interpret measurements and waveforms on the screen.
